I’m Trying To Be As Perfect As Jesus – Ayra Starr Opens Up About Her Relationship With God

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her personal journey of faith, revealing that she strives to live as perfectly as Jesus Christ.

Speaking during a conversation with content creator Jarvis, the singer explained that she maintains a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit.

According to her, her ultimate goal is to become more like Christ. She acknowledged that she hasn’t reached that point yet but emphasized that she continues to do her best every day.

Ayra Starr also pointed out that her connection with God goes beyond traditional religious practices. She noted that constantly being in church or putting on outward displays of religion can feel limiting to her.

Instead, she said she has found a personal way to nurture her faith—one that works for her—and she is comfortable with it.

She concluded by affirming that her spiritual journey is ongoing, and she remains committed to growing in her relationship with God.
